The premise stars two friends, Ruby Richardson (Merritt Wever, Nurse Jackie) and Billy Johnson (Domhnall Gleeson, The Revenant), who made a vow 17 years ago that if either of them texted the word run to one another, they would drop everything and travel across America together.
The series is supposedly full of twists and turns with a lot of Fleabag style messes and chaos for audiences to navigate through, but still managing to be satisfying and an especially good watch for those suffering through isolation boredom.
The show has great talent in front of and behind the camera, already garnering many positive reviews
The writer, Vicky Jones, has actually worked on co-writing the stage play of Fleabag with Waller-Bridge, but this is the first time they have worked together for a TV series, so it should be interesting to see how the two develop their strengths into this unique story. The show has great talent in front of and behind the camera and already has garnered many positive reviews, so this is a must watch and a welcomed distraction from essays, university emails and of course, a pandemic.
