Newcastle vs Everton:

Everton have enjoyed a sensational start to the season, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and James Rodriguez massively contributing so far this season. Their ownership has sky rocketed to 52.4% and 44%. Demand for James has been soaring in recent weeks as the Columbian has a big chances created per 90 of 1.03 this season, with only 3 players bettering this statistic. Rodriguez also has the second highest xA this season of 1.4, with only Salah having a xA of 1.45. With a team left defensively exposed by Manchester United, Everton could be next in line for giving Steve Bruce’s side a footballing lesson. With the suspended Richarlison, James will likely be next in line for spot kicks, potentially making him outstanding value at £8m.

Spurs vs Brighton

Spurs have been incredibly prolific on the counter attack this season, especially in the first half against West Ham when Kane was able to unlock the defence and played a Gerrard like pass into Son for the first goal. Kane looks to be back to his clinical self of 2015-2018, scoring over 25 goals in each of those seasons.

Given Brighton’s defensive fragility this season, conceding 4 goals against Everton, 3 against Manchester United and 3 against Chelsea, Kane looks to be a standout captaincy option this week. He has had the most shots on target this season (13) and an xGI of 5.41, a league highest by a long way.

Sheffield United vs Manchester City

Sheffield United have had a dreadful start to the season; their defence looks much leakier and Dean Henderson’s absence is extremely notable, conceding 25 shots on target this season, the fourth highest in the league. There is a definite claim for them emerging as the new whipping boys this season, meaning that there will be a better chance of a Raheem Sterling or KDB punishing a vulnerable defence. The English international rewarded FPL managers with a goal against Arsenal and is averaging 6.8 points per game this season.
