One of my personal favourites is yoga. Although this is an art that may initially appear daunting with intense flexibility and patience required, it can actually be used as a calm and peaceful part of your morning or evening routine. Taking just five minutes each day can instantly boost your mood and feelings of self-worth.
Another method involves writing down up to five things that we are thankful for in our lives, whether that be our achievements at university or a certain family member or friend. Acknowledging the positive aspects of our lives can help alleviate stress and remove the focus away from negative thoughts.
Cleansing not only our bodies but our minds from everything negative can have a huge impact on our lives and the way we perceive the world. It is never an easy path to take but once you start the journey of self-love you will never turn back.
