Next Wednesday, Newcastle students (otherwise known as Robbo inmates) will be given the chance to trial the brand-new Pot Noodle delivery service, Pot NOWdle.
The service was first revealed earlier this year as an April Fool’s prank, but after an overwhelming response, the instant noodle makers have decided to trial the service, and are hoping to help out stressed Newcastle students during the exam period.[pullquote]“We were absolutely amazed by the positive response the Pot NOWdle service received after our April Fool’s was revealed. There was a clear demand from our fans to make the dream of instant Pot Noodle delivery a reality, so that’s exactly what we’re looking to do.”- Lena Portchmouth, Senior Brand Manager.[/pullquote]
The delivery service is being trialled at on campus next Wednesday and will allow revision laden students to get their hands on a free Pot Noodle.
The trial comes after Pot Noodle was flooded with messages from fans when the announcement was revealed as an April Fool’s Day prank, with fans commenting “Is this real?” and “April Fool’s or not, this needs to happen ASAP”.
The new service is the first of its kind and has been developed to help students spend less time cooking and more time cramming. From Chicken and Mushroom, to Original Curry – the Pot NOWdle team are thankfully stocked with all the classics.
Students at Newcastle University will be able to request free delivery of their favourite flavour on 30th May. They’ll also receive a complimentary Pot Noodle phone charger to help their tech make it through exam season, too. To get your hands on one you simply need to tweet @PotNoodle between 10am and 3pm on the day and ask Pot Noodle to help you ‘spend less time cooking, more time cramming’ followed by the hashtag #YouCanMakeIt.
