When the assignments start piling up and the hours of sleep start declining rapidly, the last thing you want to think about is what you're wearing to any of your teaching sessions. The first couple of lectures may have been a showcase of your finest fits, but it's week 7 and if you're anything like me, you're congratulating yourself for even being able to get out of the clothes you slept in. With that being said, here's a run-down of some trustworthy burnout staples for when you're auto-piloting uni life.

The big t-shirt

A classic. Nothing special, just a t-shirt, preferably one that's two sizes too big for you, they are so simple and so comfy. You can find these basically everywhere, and chuck them on so easily in the morning. And you don't have to stick with plain white, you can branch out with funky patterned ones and all. 10/10.

Joggers

Perfect for pairing with the aforementioned big t-shirt. They're warm, they have pockets, they go with everything. And if you're dying for a nap after your 2pm, you can roll into bed with them on, no stress. 10/10.

The big jumper

Specifically for layering in the colder months. Again, preferably two sizes two big for you. My favourite one is my second-hand red Champion jumper - it's colourful enough to make people think I've put effort into what I'm wearing, is my theory anyway. 10/10.

Crocs

A controversial one, I'm sure. The first time I stepped out of the house wearing mine, I was paranoid about any funny looks, seeing as they're bright pink and have Shrek ear jibbitz -  but now I slip into them like second nature. They're the best thing I own, quite honestly - my feet have wiggle room, and I can dress my shoes up. None of you Air Force wearers can say the same. 100/10.
