The seven-stage event is returning for its 12th year with headliners Scissor Sisters, Pet Shop Boys, and Olly Murs. The lineup spans decades, catering to fans of all genres with legendary 80s acts, up-and-coming rock bands, and DJs in the dance tent.
John Adamson, founder of Hardwick Festival, emphasised the importance of the event to the Sedgefield community, and the North East as a whole, with 14 local artists such as Twayn and Charlie Floyd on the lineup. Hardwick Festival is not only about the music, as other activities will be provided around the site. Shanti Bee, a yoga and wellbeing studio, will have a tent at the festival providing vegan food, sound baths, and wellness workshops. This year, Hardwick has a family-only camping area and a variety of food options – Asian, Caribbean, as well as classic festival hot dogs and burgers.
