The tux itself is from NEXT; I highly recommend NEXT for a tux that's machine washable and easy to iron. The one pictured is a double-breasted tux jacket. I'm glad to see they’re becoming popular among celebrities, with Timothée Chalamet wearing one at the Paris premiere of his film Marty Supreme and particularly this award season, and Michael B. Jordan sporting one at the SAG awards. I have been wanting to purchase one for a while now, so I'm pleased I finally picked one up.
Whilst it's a staple to wear a bow tie in black-tie attire, I chose to wear a necktie instead. I wanted to emulate Michael B. Jordan's SAG award look somewhat, plus I had worn my bow tie with that suit jacket before to another fight night and I wanted to mix it up. I also think a necktie pairs beautifully with a double-breasted suit jacket.
I had a gorgeous black silk necklace laid out the night before, although a disastrous tragedy struck… I couldn’t find it! Instead I had to settle for my black cotton one. I don’t think it has that same glam factor as the silk, but it still looks good.
