British comedy icons, Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse, travel throughout the UK on a fishing trip, showing us the unique landscapes that the UK has whilst also providing light-hearted comedy for all to enjoy. They talk about everything from life to death as they began this fishing journey to get over their treatments for their heart problems.

Race Across The World

Race Across The World sees teams of two racing across continents to be the first one to arrive at the final checkpoint, winning the race. The show provides a unique insight into the countries they visit as the teams are not allowed phones or credit cards- instead they have a world map, a GPS device, and a small cash budget. They often have to work for money as they travel throughout the continents, getting a sneak peek into the lives of locals, the culture, and the food. There’s also a celebrity version of the series!

Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy

One of the most popular travel destinations, Italy, is explored by the fabulous Stanley Tucci. Trying regional dishes and exploring Italy’s love for food, he also explores the various cultures in the series. Tucci explores the origins of each city, and how their food and traditions came to be. It’s a fun show as Tucci is learning as he’s filming, rather than teaching, taking us on a holiday through Italy alongside him.

Planet Earth & Planet Earth 2

Although this isn’t necessarily ‘travel’, this show is perfect for those who want to explore areas too dangerous/isolated to travel to. Covering rainforests, arctic oceans, and lush woodlands, you get to visit fascinating landscapes that you probably never knew existed from the comfort of your sofa. David Attenborough is a British icon, and his soothing voice takes us on a journey around the globe.
