Twenty-four hours in Barcelona: ready, set, go…

The initial priority is rapid movement between all the essential wonders of the city. Luckily, the smoothest solution is to purchase the Barcelona Tourist Travel Pass (HolaBCN card) which enables an unlimited number of journeys on public transport - now manoeuvering around the vibrant metropolis is effortless!

A walking tour starts the adventure off and establishes the foundations to be fully immersed into the Spanish culture and the highlights of Barcelona, including the exquisite gothic quarter (Barri Gòtic) and the renowned street: La Rambla. After sauntering around the bustling streets, an appetite is sure to form and can be wonderfully satisfied in one of the city’s marvellous markets. La Boqueria is considered the oldest market and offers lavish foods and refreshing smoothies; an opportunity is also available to explore the stalls and acquire souvenirs. Additionally, Parc Güell is a great location to munch on your lunch and admire the architectural creations of Antoni Gaudí.

Next, find solace from the sun in the cool walls of the Picasso museum and appreciate the fine works of the famous artist.
