Future Chloe here- and I’ve got some hard truths to tell you.
I know things feel ridiculously hard right now but I’m here to tell you that things can (and will) get better. Right now, it may seem an impossibility, but in the future, you find so much peace and happiness, and you finally learn to accept yourself.
Right now, I know that your self- worth revolves around the number on the scales, achieving your 10,000 steps a day and keeping your calories low, but these things really don’t matter in the grand scheme of things, and in time that will become clear.
You are worth so much more than your appearance, and recovering is the best decision you will ever make.
You won’t believe it, but at the heaviest weight I’ve ever been, I’m also the happiest (who would’ve thought it eh?)
You have so much to learn, and there will be bumps in the road but honestly, you’re doing great, and the only way is up.
Please go easy on Mum and Dad- they’re only trying to help, and you will look back in awe at how much they sacrificed for you.
Let me tell you about some great things you will go on to experience and achieve; I know at the moment its hanging in the balance whether or not you will be able to sit your GCSE’s, but (no spoilers) you are going to be very proud of yourself.
There are so many adventures to come and experiences you could never imagine- I won’t give anything away but you will see many places and experience so many new things.
Life is so broad when your mind isn’t restricted by food and food alone.
The future is so bright, and I can’t wait for you to see this.
Keep your chin up sweetie, and don’t stop trying.
Love from,
Future Chloe
