In the past few months, our options to get out have been quite limited, so it’s the perfect time to look around us. It’s only a matter of perspective. Why should your local region be any less interesting? Do you really know it that well? Maybe there’s something you wanted to see for the longest time but never got round to it.
The other day, I finally set off to have a look at a group of trees in the middle of a field. It turned out to be an old, abandoned graveyard. Later, I decided to follow a river that flows through my village to see how far I could get, something I’d never done before. Along the way, I found the loveliest daisy meadow and incredible views of the river hidden behind bushes.
I cannot stress enough how much you’re missing out on. It’s the little things that matter after all.
