It has been confirmed by Champagnepapi (Drake) on his Instagram that he is releasing something on Friday midnight as the caption in his post. However, not much information has been provided by the Canadian rapper as to whether he is going to be releasing a single, EP, or a mixtape.

OVO and XXL Magazine have tweeted about Scary Hours dropping on Friday as well.

Drake has surprised fans with this news after failing to meet the expected date about his upcoming album that was expected to drop in January 2021. Keeping fans ever more excited about Certified Lover Boy.

However, Drake first released Scary Hours on January 19 2018 an EP released featuring Gods plan and Diplomatic Immunity showing his vocal and rap ability. According to Rap Genius,  “Scary Hours is essentially Drake’s ‘bat signal.’ He has frequently used the phrase in his career to indicate a major release, dating as far back as 2013.”

This indicates that this EP is will be Scary Hours 2 as Certified Lover Boy anticipation increases.

According to DJ Akademiks, as quoted, “Drake told me to sit tight n relax… he said that ‘what's next record is just a ‘warm up ting’ He's working overtime creating this next masterpiece CLB on da way…fr.”
