Participating venues range from historical landmarks such as Newcastle Castle and High Bridge Works, to top cultural spots like the Alphabetti Theatre and the Discovery Centre. Opportunities include a free metro ride to the Nexus Learning Centre in South Shields, and there really are activities for all, whether it’s a chance to try out the train simulator or a guided tour of the Lit & Phil Library.
