Aperol spritz

This popular drink is emblematic of warm summers, sat outside, enjoying a cocktail. It's bittersweet taste and striking orange look, has made this a staple summer drink. It reminds me of holidays in Italy and it’s so easy to recreate the same drink at home. 

Ingredient

Ice

Oranges

Prosecco

Aperol

Soda water

Method

1. Fill a large wine glass with ice 
2. Pour 3 parts prosecco followed by 2 parts Aperol
3. Top with a splash of soda water
4. Add a slice of orange or 2 

Pimm’s 

The quintessential British cocktail! Pimm’s is the perfect drink to make a large jug of and share at summer BBQ’s and garden parties. It’s so easy to make as it doesn’t require too many ingredients, and it looks and tastes delicious. 

Ingredients

Any fruit you have (anything like lemons, oranges, cucumber, strawberries etc)

200 ml Pimm’s 

600ml lemonade 

Ice 

Mint 

Method

1. Slice up the fruit and place into a large jug with lots of ice.
2. Top with the Pimm’s and lemonade.
3. Add a sprig of mint to finish and have glasses available to pour and share.
4. You can keep topping up the jug throughout as you wish.
