Upon finishing the 19/20 season, I was completely confident about the squad that Liverpool have, going into next season.

As long as we can keep the spine of the squad intact (which certainly looks like it will happen), depth is the important factor. Signing Thiago Alcantara, Ismaila Sarr and Danny Ings would make my perfect summer transfer window.

Thiago Alcantara

Thiago bolsters the midfield options, adding a new dimension of creativity to the midfield, alongside Hendo and Fab.

With Liverpool's midfield commonly regarded as the weakest part of the team, Thiago would add that extra quality that is needed to allow Klopp's side to dominate both English and European football for years to come.

If Alcantara's Champions League heroics are anything to go by, Thiago is a must-buy for our midfield next season.

Ismaila Sarr would provide some cheap, quality depth up front - potentially challenging the two wingers (Salah and Mane) for their place in the team. At such a young age he is already Premier League proven - impressing in the Watford side that were relegated last season. With talent and time on his side, he would be the perfect signing out wide.

Can I see it happening? Probably not, but one can dream.

Danny Ings

The dream transfer for me this season would be Danny Ings. A grafter, a player with passion, and most importantly - a goalscorer. I was always a massive fan of Danny during his time at Liverpool, and it was a shame to see that injury hampered his time at Anfield.

Ings is a fantastic striker, one of the best that the Premier League has to offer. Fans of opposing teams are often quick to criticise Roberto Firmino for his goalscoring efforts this season, and the presence of Danny Ings would push Liverpool in the right direction in terms of the front three scoring more goals. More importantly, the addition of a couple of new forwards would help to relieve the physical stress on the front three, of having to play week in, week out.
