Who is paying £100 for an alarm clock?

Is the viral sunrise alarm clock really the key to attending all of those future 9 am lectures?

Personally, I hate the standard iPhone and Android alarms. Nothing is worse than being woken up by a blaring siren, and it makes me want to stay in bed rather than get up.

If you’re anything like me, you set a million alarms, snooze them all, and fall back asleep. When I discovered the ‘sunrise lamp’, I thought - could this be my solution?

Now when I wake up with the Hatch Restore alarm clock, my day is instantly off to a good start. As someone who takes pride in their morning routine, all the customisable settings are perfect. Nothing beats custom lighting and sounds to soothe me into deep rest and wake me feeling energised. Most of the time, it works, especially in the darker drearier months.

I really believe it’s the only thing dragging me to my 9 am's

Is it worth £100 though? Maybe not. But, there is nothing quite like waking up on a cold October morning at 8 am when it’s still dark outside but my bedroom still feels like waking up in the summer months. I really believe it’s the only thing dragging me to my 9 am's. Sometimes I get excited to wake up in the morning - but that’s really pushing it.
