The couple, who have been dating for nine years took to social media on the 7th March to announce both the sex and due date of their baby. Affectionately known by their fans as 'Zalfie', they have been in the spotlight the entirety of their relationship.
For the many of us who grew up in the 'YouTube era', this almost feels like our own friends are having children - and gives us a stark reminder of how old we're all getting.
Both Zoe and Alfie were a part of a small group of content creators who achieved global fame in the YouTube peak from 2012-2015.
The announcement of their pregnancy only confirms the shift in the YouTube community, that has gone from a majority of younger people to a successful group of adult creators who are all moving to the next stage in their lives.
Besides that though, I can't help but be excited for the couple, who I watched grow as I myself navigated my early teenage years. Baby vlogs, pregnancy updates and decorating the nursery will all be on the cards - bringing their content into a brand new genre.
So, even though the golden age of YouTube is long gone, there are still plenty of fans who will welcome their baby in September, and celebrate their very own internet favourites new chapter in life.
