When my sister first bought tickets to see Mother Mother I was excited. Excited to see a band I'd liked for a long time. Excited to get back to a big gig after watching a lot of smaller artists recently, and excited to be going to a concert with my sister for the first time. Mother Mother delivered on all fronts, delivering a lively, bright show with a mix of old hits and new favourites from their new album 'Grief Chapter'.

The opener, The Crawlers, was a pleasant suprise as I didn't realise who they where until they started. Most probably know the for their most famous song 'Come over (Again)' with the lyrics 'take her name out of your mouth you don't deserve to mourn' and the explosive bridge being a popular TikTok sound. They recently released their debut album 'The mess we seem to make' and have collected a passionate fanbase with their alternative, rock style and dynamic stage presence.

Mother Mother where excellent. They came out all guns blaising with banger after banger all neatly wrapped in a performative and fun light show to accompany every song. The first half was explosive and just what the crowd needed to follow the Crawlers and to get everybody in the mood for the high energy everning.

The first half was explosive

The second half brought everyone down a little, moving to accoustic guitar and the bands signature harmonies as they did a medley of all the hits they had yet to touvh on before bringing back the excitement and lights to end the show with a bang.

All in all a great show that I would highly recommend to anybody looking for a good night and fantastic music.
