Just like Sheldon Cooper, I love a Grasshopper cocktail! With spooky season almost over, you may be wanting a Halloween-themed cocktail that is the brightest of greens... fitting perfectly to the colours of this special day.
Ingredients:
25ml crème de menthe
25ml white crème de cacao
25ml single cream
Ice
Mint sprig
25g melted chocolate (optional)
Method:
- Starting with the garnish, get your mint sprig and strip the leaves off the bottom.
- Dip the sprig, holding it from the bottom, into melted chocolate.
- Leave the chocolate covered mint sprig to set.
- Then fill a cocktail shaker with ice, to start on the cocktail.
- Pour in the crème de menthe, white crème de cacao and single cream.
- Shake the cocktail shaker vigorously, until it is all mixed in (which is usually when the shaker is cold all around).
- Strain into a cocktail class (my glass choice is a martini glass).
- Finally, add the garnish.
