England are currently in first place in Group C with 16 points, 3 points ahead of Ukraine who are in second place with 13 points but have played seven games. In six games, they have won five matches and drawn one. England’s greatest win so far was their 7-0 victory over North Macedonia. Their most recent win was their 3-1 victory over Italy, where they managed to turn the game around after Italy’s Scamacca scored the first goal at just 15 minutes in, putting them ahead. Jude Bellingham proved that he is a rising star for England after being involved in all three of the goals scored. England will play Malta and then North Macedonia and they are expected to win both games.
Scotland is currently in second place in Group A and are tied on 15 points with Spain who are in first place. In six games, they have had five wins and one loss. Their greatest win so far were their matches against Cyprus, where they won 3-0 both times. Their most recent fixture saw them lose 2-0 against Spain and consequently miss out on securing the top spot in the group. Scotland will play Georgia and Norway next, and they should win against both.
Wales still has work to do as their 2-1 win against Croatia allowed them to overtake them and get into second place, whilst Croatia sits in third. Their position isn’t secured yet though, as they are tied with Croatia at 10 points, and will need to win both their upcoming matches against Armenia and Turkey to qualify, both of whom in previous matches in the group they have lost to. With eight goals scored and eight goals conceded, it doesn’t look like Wales came to attack. In six games, they have only won three, drawn one and lost two. Wales will have to pick up the pace if they want to secure their spot in the 2024 Euros.
