With the second season of Fallout (2024) drawing to a close, I’m sure many of us are wondering how Hank’s miniaturisation will change the wasteland. With so many different story lines co-existing throughout the show, it leaves a lot of anticipation for how everything will hopefully come together in the next season.

I’m personally very excited to see Norm and Lucy reunited. The two siblings have managed to take on the wasteland and they both share a sense of justice which clearly hasn’t come from their father. With Norm and Claudia forming a bond on the surface, it opens up a lot of ways for the plot to go. I think one interesting theory is that Norm could realise the restrictions of being physically small in the wasteland and turn himself into a super mutant- something he is no aware of after discovering FEV on the terminal. Whatever happens to Norm, I'm sure he’ll still remain one of my favourite characters and for the love of god I hope they don’t kill him off to develop Lucy’s character.

Their father-daughter relationship has really shone through this season with both of them missing and being in search of their biological counterparts.

As Cooper sets off for Colorado, it was quite sad to see him part ways with Lucy. Their father-daughter relationship has really shone through this season with both of them missing and being in search of their biological counterparts. I hope Cooper finds his family although I have some concerns about their chemistry when they meet: will Janey have been manipulated into hating her father? What is Barbara up to in Colorado? - perhaps working for the Enclave? It's presumed that Barbara still has hope that Cooper is alive and wants to see him again, after all, she left a note saying where she had gone. I also really want to know how Cooper managed to get Janey to Barb, despite it only being the two of them together when the bombs dropped in season 1.

Obviously Hank and Lucy’s story takes centre stage after Hank wipes his memory and Phase 2 is initiated by Steph. Presumably, Hank has infected the wasteland with the microchipped drones to do the enclaves bidding of genetic purification and I'm curious to see what this entails. After having is memory wiped, Hanks character could be used in many ways: Perhaps he didn’t actually wipe his memory and just wanted Lucy to leave? Maybe he erased it to maintain the secrecy of the plan? Whatever his motives, something evil is definitely on the horizon and I can’t wait to see how everything comes together.
