A nineteen-year-old man has been sentenced to four months in prison for stealing a PlayStation 4 from a chain supermarket in Montbeliard. He manipulated its self-checkout system via weighing the console as fruits and vegetables instead of scanning the PS4 barcode, ending up paying only €9.29.
After making €91 in profit from selling the PS4, he returned to the exact same store the next day to strike again. Using the exact same plan as before, he was then caught by the police.
