Bugzy Malone brings his Northern grime talents to Newcastle o2 Academy next week. His autumn tour takes in venues from London's Printworks to Edinburgh's Corn Exchange, with a two date stop-off at his hometown venue - Manchester Mayfield Point. Fresh off the release of his first LP, B. Inspired, in August, Bugzy Malone is at the top of his game. The album reached number 6 in the UK Album Charts, impressive for an upcoming urban artist and follows previous successful EP releases.
The rapper has been influenced by everything from the same Risky Roads DVD series that inspired big-name rappers (Dizzee Rascal, Skepta) to Batman films. Drawing inspiration from Tupac, Bugzy Malone is in good company among similar grime artists like Stormzy. His show is set to be exciting and the start of a budding career for the Mancunian.
Bugzy Malone plays Newcastle o2 Academy on Wednesday 24th October. Doors open at 7pm. Seated balcony tickets are still available in advance for £21.35 at the box office or online through Ticketmaster.
