A fairly comfortable 6-3 6-4 was enough for the home favourite to secure his dominance once again, claiming his 3rd trophy for the season. The game started strong in both ends of the court with Tsitsipas hungry to get his hands on the trophy after failing to do so in previous years despite reaching the final twice. Tsitspas was able to break the third game of the first set but that was not enough as Alcaraz quickly went back to 2-2.
