Concerts are the perfect place to try fun, exciting outfits, but buying something new isn’t always a budget-friendly option, especially after securing your ticket! So, get creative with your closet, turn the music up, throw your own little concert, and let’s get you ready for the real one later!

First things first, match the vibe to the artist! It’s a great way to have fun with your clothes and try different styles. Pinterest is your best friend for getting inspiration from your favourite artists and other fans.

To elevate an outfit from simple to concert-worthy, have fun with layering! Let patterns peek out, layer fun tights with a skirt and boots, or throw a statement jacket or patterned shirt over a simple tee. Try different combos: one piece can make all the difference and take your outfit to the next level.

Now, the key to taking an outfit even further is jewellery. Mix and layer; a few cool necklaces can completely transform an outfit. Some people stick to just gold or silver, but try mixing metals; they pair perfectly, and all jewellery deserves to be shown off!

... nobody at the concert is looking at your shoes, but you’re the one dancing in them.

A shoe can make or break an outfit, but the most important thing is comfort. You don’t want blisters or sore feet wrecking your night. Sidenote: nobody at the concert is looking at your shoes, but you’re the one dancing in them. Stick to your go-to comfy shoes: a simple trainer, broken-in boots, or, if you dare, heels. Play Cinderella and find your perfect pair, but most importantly, be ready for a night of boogieing!

If you’re bringing a bag, pick one that fits your essentials and keeps your hands free when dancing! Jazz up a simple bag with chains or a ribbon bow, customise it and make it yours!

It’s not clothing, but makeup can completely elevate a look if you wear makeup. Try colourful eyeshadow, a smoky eye, or a swipe of eyeliner for extra pop. Not into experimenting? Keep it simple and add some sparkle.

Keep to your go-to hairstyle and avoid anything that might feel uncomfortable. If you’ve got long hair and are wearing it down, bring a bobble! Concerts get warm, and hair sticking to you is the worst, especially if heat and humidity mess with it.

So those are my top tips to making sure you’re comfy, cool, and concert-ready!
