Set to be a bittersweet end-of-summer celebration, this year’s edition will include Armand Van Helden, the Waterboys, Jamie Webster and Hawkwind as headliners. Fans can expect the biggest festival yet at Beal Farm, which overlooks the famous tidal island.
With over 200 acts set to perform across eight stages, fans can expect a feast of music to enjoy in a spectacular coastal location. Stages include DeltaCity for late-night electronic music, Dingle Dell for folk music and the brand new Altar Stage which the festival says is “for those in need of a spiritual sonic awakening”. Beyond music, the festival will also offer ‘healing areas’, wellness spaces, comedy and immersive performances.
The Friday night headliner will be Grammy-nominated dance music star Armand Van Helden, whose hits ‘You Don’t Know Me’, ‘My My My’ and ‘Bonkers’ should go down a treat under the clear Northumberland stars. Saturday night headliners the Waterboys are festival favourites, and are set to give an uplifting performance of their folk-rock hits, followed by lovable Scouse sensation Jamie Webster.
“We always say Lindisfarne Festival is where music, magic and mayhem collide — and this year, we’re going even bigger,” Debbie Travis-Waller, spokesperson for the festival, said. “From huge headliners to homegrown talent, there’s something for every kind of festival-goer. This is going to be a proper pilgrimage to remember.”
Lindisfarne Festival will take place from 28 to 31 August. Tickets are on sale now. Festival shuttle buses from Berwick-upon-Tweed train station will be available.
