Managed by former AC Milan star, Gennaro Gattuso, Napoli currently sit first in the Serie A. They play Roma (league), Rangers (Champions League) and Sassuolo (league) to wrap up their month of October in which the Italian side will display their brand-new kit.
Known for their fair share of quirky celebratory football kits, this is the fifth kit produced by the Italian side this season.
In the 2021/22 season, Napoli treated their fans to 15 official home, away, third, goalkeeper and special edition kits! Two included tributes to the great Diego Maradonna who sadly passed away at the age of 60, in November 2020.
Their official website reads, “In collaboration with EA7, SSC Napoli is pleased to present the first special edition jersey of the 2022/23 season, which is dedicated to the scariest night of the year.”
This is a continuance of a theme that started last Halloween when Napoli released a black shirt covered in cobwebs to wear over the spooky season.
A great idea but one that is doubtful to be continued by sides in the Premier League over All Hallows' Eve.
