Newcastle's Henry Croft wins BUCS Midland Championship

The BUCS golf tour Midlands Championship took place on the 20^th and 21^st of September at Holinwell Golf Club, with 39 of the best British University and College golfers competing over two rounds for the trophy.

In his first BUCS tournament, Newcastle Universities very own Henry Croft (4^th year Civil Engineering student) scored an impressive one over part total score after two impressive rounds of 74 and 71, to win by one shot over Judd Sundelson of Nottingham University. In a tense finale with four holes to go Henry managed to keep his nerve and overturn Judd's two shot lead and become the first Newcastle University BUCS golf tour champion. A fantastic achievement, well done Henry!
