You might have seen her on TikTok, but Bel Priestley is making her way to TV in the new season of Heartstopper on the 3rd of August this year. A transgender woman, she is incredibly powerful in making her and her rights known on social media.
Now, it's her time to take this message to the massive streaming network Netflix, on one of the biggest shows globally. Heartstopper will only grow in popularity with Bel’s presence, joining none other than Yasmine Finney (soon to join The Doctor!). Good Luck to Bel in her TV debut, I cannot wait to see where she goes next!

Although not technically a new actor, Millie Gibson has recently broken away from her soap-opera shackles, taking on the role of the sidekick in the upcoming series of Doctor Who alongside Ncuti Gatwa.
She is best known for portraying Kelly Neelan in Coronation Street, and although this is a good role in itself, it’s exciting to see her in a different and bigger role. I can’t wait to see what else she will have in store after taking on such an iconic role, but for now, what will she make of the role of the companion as she joins the group alongside Karen Gillen, Billie Piper, and Catherine Tate?

Having seen The Last of Us, I - and many others across the world - were hooked by Bella Ramsey. There was a lot of talk about them not being a good casting choice for character Ellie, but when the show came out they proved that wrong.
Ramsey is dynamic and captivating, hitting us with all the right feels in their TLoU performance. The 19-year-old is no amateur either, having already starred in seasons 6-8 of Game of Thrones.
Considering that The Last of Us has already been renewed, I'm so excited to see how Ramsey treats the game sequel, and all of their future projects as well.
