Missguided £16

Missguided £16

Backpacks are back and better than ever this year. This metal trim leather-look oversized bag is just £16 from Missguided. Perfect for those on a budget but still wanting to keep up to date with trends. It’s a good enough size to hold all your essentials on a daily basis and is also a practical addition to a summer outfit where you’d rather have your hands free. Being black, this backpack is transferable from season to season, it will go very well with chunky knits in the cold but also add a tougher edge to a dress over the summer months. Missguided’s version is a great dupe of the Stella McCartney Falabella backpack that Kylie Jenner owns but this one isn’t worth over £700 and so it won’t matter too much if you get it a bit dirty.

Topshop £56

Topshop £56

If you’re willing on investing that little bit more into a backpack, this Topshop one is a failsafe. It is a simple, chic, no fuss bag which is bound to go with every outfit you own – you’ll certainly get your wear out of it. The nude colour marks a bit of a change from your standard rucksack but if you really can’t see it going with the items in your wardrobe, it comes in black too. At £56, it’s a bit more on the pricy side, but because of the real leather, it will last you longer meaning you’ll get your money’s worth eventually. This being said, if you want to go faux, ASOS have a huge range of faux leather backpacks at the moment and there are many drawstring bucket backpacks all over the high street this season as the popularity of Vegan fashion increases.

Splurge

Fendi £2300

Fendi £2300

If you’re one of those people who is into their designer handbags, willing and able to spend more on your accessories to achieve an individual style, then most likely you will have already seen Fendi’s line of ‘Monster’ backpacks. These are extremely unique mini backpacks with monster eye details. Prices start no lower than £1000, and my personal favourite comes with both studded details and a price tag of £2300, it takes the meaning of splurge to a whole new level. Don’t worry though, because the trend has already begun to be replicated by the high street for a fraction of the price of the originals, which is music to the ears of those of us who unfortunately can’t afford to fork out the whole of our student loan for a handbag.
