Staring Ryan Gosling as ‘The Fall Guy’ this hit follows Colt Seavers, a Hollywood stunt double, who gets caught up in an adventure of his own. His dark little secret? He’s in love with the film’s director, portrayed by Emily Blunt! But when the film’s star (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) goes missing, it’s up to his stunt man to find him…for some reason.
Director David Leitch is known for his dark humoured action films, with highlights including Bullet Train and Deadpool 2. Just from this roster, we can tell that this film will be a lot of fun, with a lot of laughs!
The trailer has already given a lot away, so I’m not expecting too many surprises. But I am excited to see how this film portrays Hollywood. A Hollywood film, about the making of a Hollywood film in which the stunt double re-enacts the action sequences of Hollywood movies. Someone call Christopher Nolan because Leitch seems to be pulling off Inception!
Gosling appears to be bringing back the Barbie Kenergy, in some sort of comedy revival in his career, but who’s complaining? So alongside more sarcastic Ryan, expect, wild stunts, crazy costumes, and a brunette Hannah Waddingham.
