For the ensemble award, the cast of The White Lotus succeeded in their category Drama Series Ensemble for the hilariously dramatic show set on an all-star resort. This was followed by the Comedy Series Ensemble in which Abbott Elementary were rewarded for their laughable sitcom about a public school based in a mainly black community. Finally, the fan-favourite television show Stranger Things walked away as a winner with the Stunt Ensemble in a TV Series Award.
Within the Television Movie or Limited Series categories, Sam Elliot was a successful actor for his role in the American Western drama series 1883, followed by Jessica Chastain winning for her role in the drama television series George & Tammy. Following the awards for best Actor in a Drama Series, we saw the amazing actor Jason Bateman once again be credited for his fantastic work in Ozark, alongside the fabulous and iconic Jennifer Coolidge in the again credited The White Lotus. The Male Actor in a Comedy Series was awarded to Jeremy Allen White for The Bear, and the Female Actor in a Comedy Series was awarded to Jean Smart for her role in Hacks.
Finally, the icon and immensely talented Sally Field, well known for her career spanning almost 60 years, was rewarded with the well-deserved and well-earned Life Time Achievement Awards.
