Eat it so you don’t regret it, that’s what I say. As a passionate foodie, these are my last 4 bucket list cravings before I graduate

Little Lobo

In the heart of Sandyford, this little restaurant has always caught my attention. The more central version of the South Shields restaurant ‘ Lobo Rojo’ delivers Mexican cuisine, from taco Tuesdays, with a huge set of options for tacos and frozen margaritas, to burritos tortas and much more. Their amazing design, concept and taste of Mexico has been on my bucket list for ages, I’ve heard so many good things about this restaurant. It has been described by man as “ fresh and tasty” and “ a hidden gem”. What more could I need? They also do DIY taco kits that you can take away and build your own tacos at home!

Café Andaluz

Where do I start? If I don’t go for my graduation dinner there, I'll never go. The fairly new restaurant on Grey Street is always packed after expanding from Glasgow, providing tapas for all tastes, it can be described as “ the taste of Spain”. From meat and vegetable tapas (small plates) to Spanish brunch every Saturday and Sunday, I honestly don’t know when to go. This is the perfect concept for a big family or a group of friends, having the opportunity to try a bit of everything, packed with flavour!

Pablo Eggs-go-bao

The breakfast spot in the heart of Newcastle was something I got introduced to by my flatmate. The bao bun place is specifically designed to only serve three types of breakfast bao buns and honestly is one of the smartest concepts I ever came across. Even though I haven’t been yet, I've seen the menu: a bun with crispy hash brown, sausage patty topped with cheese and omelette topped with sauce sounds like a match made in heaven. Of course the takeaway place has both veggie and vegan options, to meet all tastes, highlighting the “Doggo sausage” for our little friends. Eggs to go? In a Bao bun? Sign me up!

Just over the millennium bridge, a set of containers providing delicious food is waiting for you and definitely me. One of the most popular comfort food locations in Newcastle, it has gained so much popularity due to its open fire kitchen, outdoor cooking concept and a very comfy environment. I can't wait for the weather to get warm - I definitely need to visit before I graduate, sit by the river, have a pint or two, and feel relaxed. Something I think everyone needs after exams.
