No Cap: the ever essential accessory

If there’s one fashion accessory that’s reliable, undeniable and a life saver on any day, it’s a cap. You can style it with just about anything, nearly every big brand offers them, and usually they’re affordable. What I’m saying is, if you don’t own a cap, what are you doing with your life?

I recently entered the market for a new cap after a traumatic experience walking past the Phillip Robinson. A strong gust of wind later, my cap was blown off my head, down off the bridge, and onto the busy road beneath. Rest in peace, beautiful Ralph Lauren cap, you have served me well. Naturally, this led me to the search for a new cap, but in the absence of my stunning Ralphie, I learned how much of a staple that cap was in my fashion. Bad hair days felt a lot more tragic without it.

But ultimately this untimely experience led me to a bigger dilemma… how do I find my new cap? Urban Outfitters offers some good options, and I never shy away from their overpriced beauties. ASOS was good too, but I landed on randomly stumbling into ‘Size?’ where I noticed a nice little Carhartt cap. Decent priced, comfortable, and can be styled pretty well with anything. With summer approaching, if you don’t have a cap in your closet, I guess at this point what are you doing?
