Photo essay: Goodbye spring, hello summer

I don't know about anyone else, but I have really enjoyed being outside recently, especially since the lockdown restrictions have finally eased, and the weather is slowly but surely warming up. Although summer is of course many people's favourite season, I think there's something lovely about spring; new flowers start to grow, and the sun finally starts to rise earlier and set later.

Here are a couple of photos I have taken over the past few months that I think encapsulate the things I love about spring and the outdoors.
